NINE INDICTED IN DAVISON COUNTY FOR COCAINE DISTRIBUTION

MITCHELL, S.D. – South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley says nine people have been indicted in connection with a cocaine distribution network in Davison County. The suspects include eight men and one woman, with three also facing immigration-related investigations.

The indictments, handed down by a Davison County Grand Jury on Oct. 29, include 36 felony charges related to cocaine distribution. The individuals charged are:

Milton Velasques-Barrera, age 35, Mitchell: 15 counts including distribution in a drug-free zone, possession, and conspiracy.

Brian Medrano-Eudales, age 32, Mitchell: Four counts including conspiracy and possession.

Estuardo Corado, age 31, Mitchell: Seven counts including distribution and conspiracy.

Guillermo Hernandez, age 27, Mitchell: Four counts including distribution and possession.

Josselin Zuniga, age 32, Mitchell: Two counts including conspiracy and accessory to a crime.

Timothy Antonie, age 50, Mitchell; Jorge Prendes, age 39, Mitchell; Hector Cartagena, age 38, Ethan; and Michael Morrison, age 47, Mitchell: Each face one count of conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance.

The alleged crimes happened between March 1 and Sept. 1, 2025. Those indicted face up to 10 years in prison, with mandatory minimums for certain charges.
